New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has stated broadband for everyone is a top priority for economic development, education and safety. To back up his comments, he's pledged $500MM to help make it happen through the New York Broadband Program, which was one of the sessions at this year's New York State Association of Counties Fall Seminar.
Leading by example with a session dubbed "Universal Broadband Coming to NY," Resolute Partners customers Niagara and Orleans County legislators David Godfrey (left of center) and Lynne Johnson (right of center) spoke about driving the broadband initiative in their counties for a number of years. RESOLUTE is pleased to have been chosen by them to support their ongoing efforts to bring rural broadband to their residents. “This is an exciting project and we are happy to support our clients goals of last mile, last home, last child," said RESOLUTE CEO Michael Blanco (center). "We look forward to working with them, other municipal NY counties, NY state Broadband Program and the NY State Association of Counties to deliver this important benefit to all residents.”
